It isn’t often that you visit a lodge/hotel with such happy staff. Everyone was smiling and always helpful. The setting of the lodge is beautiful. There is a superb river that runs by the lodge, great for swimming. And if too cold for you, jump into the naturally warmed up hot tub.
The lodge can be very romantic due to all the candles and nature, great for couples. Food was awesome, very healthy and exactly what we were looking for.
We will certainly head back to Carolina Lodge the next time we visit CR. If you are looking for a proper Costa Rican experience, then La Carolina Lodge is definitely a must!
