Time stands still whenever I visit the Carolina Lodge with my little family, giving us plenty of occasions to spend some real quality time together on a horse-ride, playing games, swimming in the river, relaxing in the hot tub and observing colourful birds like the green honeycreeper, masked tytira, Montezuma Oropendolas, colared aracaris, both chestnut-mandibled and keel-billed toucans as well as the tiny blue-jeans poison dart frog…(just to mention what we saw on our last one-night stay).
